Agriculture is the forerunner of the China-ASEAN free trade zone construction. Since the two parties launched the "early harvest" plan in 2002, ASEAN has now become China's largest importer of agricultural materials and agricultural products. At present, China and ASEAN countries have no trade barriers for agricultural materials, agricultural products, and food trade. Agriculture in all countries is at the same stage of development.
